Coffee: Our Story
It took us years to find a good coffee roast. You see, if there is one up-side to travelling away from Yorkshire to the continent, then it’s the coffee. Continental people enjoy a big advantage over Yorkshire folk. You can easily find great coffee wherever you go… And we thought, “We can’t be settling for bad coffee anymore.”
We set out to find the best coffee supplier in Britain. We wanted the good stuff and no messing about. It took a while — years —and as often happens with these things, rather than us finding a company, a company found us.
Anyway, believe me, while we were looking we tasted a lot of mediocre, bad and extremely terrible coffee, while being told how good it was — roasted in this way or that, Arabica, Robusta wot-not and such… We nearly gave up. Then, one afternoon, Caffe Vinci persuaded us to give them a try.
As a result of this happy accident, what we believe to be the best coffee in the proper world*, is available in our little part of Yorkshire.
…Majestic!
* The proper world refers to the North of England but mainly Yorkshire, of course, where else?
Partnered with our British suppliers in Middlesbrough, we can pretty much nearly guarantee that you’ll be hard-pushed to find a better cup-o-coffee anywhere else.
